Anderson County Board of Registration and Elections is always looking for people interested in working at the polls. There is a need for more election workers for the upcoming general election on November 8, 2022.

Election workers are required to be registered to vote in Anderson County or an adjoining county. They can begin at ages 16-17 (so voter registration is not a requirement for this age group).also work if aged 16 or 17 (voter registration not required for this age group). Training begins in the first two weeks of October, so don’t wait!

This is a great opportunity to participate directly in helping our democratic process work for all.

Initial training and certification is online at your own pace (2-3 hours total) and some additional hands-on training for machines is in person. You will also receive a printed handbook with all the info from training and more.

  • Election Worker application that you can mail or bring to Election Office OR complete the application online at SCVotes.gov.
